Everyone has been very sympathetic and kind; we've had several meals, tons and tons of prayer, and emails/calls asking how we're doing. It's been hard, but we're doing well. :)
The Thursday SCCCHE meeting was a lot of fun! It was a chili cookoff and family game night, and Knut and his FLL team also did some robot runs for people to watch. We hadn't expected a lot of people to come, but the gym was full even though it was a snowy night and the roads were rather treacherous.
On Saturday, the FTC team (First Tech Challenge) in the homeschool group had a competition, and they invited Knut's FLL team to come and have a table set up to tell people about First Lego League. So they brought their table to have robot runs as well as their display. Grandpa and Grandma and I went as well.
Also on Saturday, Cecily and I had a sleepover with Kalei and Shelby Swogger. :) Lots and lots of fun! :)
Yesterday, Sunday, we had church in the morning, went to the zoo in the afternoon (and had a snowball fight in which Papa lost... badly), and watched Aristocats in the evening.
Today, school. :P
Oh, Oh... teach MY dad how to lose a snowball fight!!!! :P
ReplyDeleteTip for you: Act innocent while someone else is pelting him with snowballs. Then sneak up behind him and drop a handful of snow down his neck. It takes teamwork. ;D
ReplyDeleteAHHHHHHHHH.... nice tactic.... :D
