and Rosemary's first birthday!!!
Earlier in the day we went to the beach. I didn't bring my camera, so I don't have any pictures, but it was great! Rosemary had a wonderful time playing in the sand, chasing seagulls, and trying to eat seashells. She didn't like it quite so much when a wave came and got her all wet, but soon she went back to chasing seagulls. Grandma and I got them to come very close by throwing bits of leftover burrito and other snacks at them. Rosemary loved it! She ran after them, waving and calling 'Hi!'. That is, until she got sidetracked and tried to eat the food we had thrown at them. :)
