The family left about 10:45 to go to the beach on Tuesday. Everyone went except for Uncle Travis, who was at work. :(

Ethan had an interesting encounter that was quite fun to hear about! As Papa said...
"All the kids were happily playing in the water and having a great time; Ethan was out pretty far splashing in the waves. I noticed that the lifeguard kept blowing his whistle and waving... I started wondering, 'Is he blowing his whistle at my kids?' They were all just fine; nothing was wrong... then all of a sudden, I see the lifeguard talking on his radio, and then he takes off running down the beach and swims out to Ethan. Ethan was like, 'What? What'd I do?' He was perfectly fine, but to the lifeguard it looked like he was floundering; not just splashing and playing."So... then the emergency vehicles drove up, and an explanation was forthcoming... and everyone learned that when a lifeguard blows his whistle at you, you're supposed to smile and wave at him.
