Bjorn's pizza cake: chocolate chip cookie crust, peanut butter and melted chocolate chips icing, and M&M's on top! Yummy!
Well, Mom, I think Bjorn likes his pizza cake!
PRESENTS!!!!!!
This is one of our family traditions: making a 'house' for the birthday person out of his/her gifts and cards while everyone assembles in the living room. It's always the living room, never the great room or dining room or kitchen or anywhere else in the house.
After Bjorn's cake and presents, we all went for a bike ride to the park.
Bjorn decided to bring along one of his new toy trains.
I discovered that I can take pictures while biking. Cool! About two summers ago, I spent weeks learning to ride 'no hands'. I can't do it very well anymore, but having learned to balance well then sure helps now! This might be my new hobby... biking photography! :)
This evening we Skyped our Aunt Margaret and Cousins Camryn, Ethan, Sloan, and Isaac who are just back in the US after being deployed in Spain for three years. This aunt is the one who got me started on blogging, and she has a great blog herself at http://familychrysalis.blogspot.com/. They will be coming here for a visit in just about a week with our grandparents! Their dad will be joining them here, and they are all going to stay for about one week. Of course that's way too short a time... we'd rather it was at least a couple months! :D
