I have a lot to catch up on! I'm going to be lazy and give you a link to the post on the Bright Lights blog instead of writing my own post. I only got a few good pictures this week; they always have great pictures. There's one picture of me on there that is pretty weird, but oh, well. So... click HERE to view their post.
Papa has been working like crazy to get the rental house finished. He had to go to Washington State for some family- and business-related stuff that has to get done NOW, and the rental had to be finished before he left. This week he's been working from about 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM (usually closer to midnight) every day, with hardly ever a break for meals. He's had lots of workers over there helping him, also. Knut and I had a break from school for a couple days so we could help him! Of course, then we have to make it up later. We were mostly painting and doing the easy jobs like taking care of garbage and sweeping. The renters, as I think I said in an earlier post, were supposed to move in on Monday, but first the house had to pass the occupancy inspections. The inspectors couldn't come until Tuesday, though... and it didn't pass either inspection. (That meant that Mom had to deal with the inspectors after Papa left!) Then on Wednesday Papa had to take a break from working on the rental to go work at church. After church he went right back to the rental, and worked ALL NIGHT LONG until about 3:30 AM. That was when he went home to pack his bags, hug all of us goodbye in our sleep (although a couple of us woke up), and leave with a very kind neighbor for the airport. We received a phone call earlier today from Grandma Davis saying that Papa had arrived there safely. He should be back this Tuesday; which means he'll be gone for a total of six days. Almost a whole week without Papa! Yikes! This morning Mom went to the rental for the first re-inspection which passed, thank God!!! Tomorrow the same neighbor who was willing to drive Papa to the airport at 4:30 in the morning is going to take care of the second re-inspection while we are all at Lyceum. While Mom was at the rental taking care of the inspection, I led Circle Time at home. We did our scripture reciting in a slightly different way than we usually do. Here are some videos:
They're reciting 2 Timothy 3:16, NIV:
All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.
They're taking turns reciting three words at a time, more or less.
And the boys...
And they are reciting 2 Corinthians 5:17:
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
They're doing it the same way as Cecily and Gloria.
And now for the really funny ones!
Ladies first... or is it bunnies?
They're reciting Galatians 2:20a:
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
And now for the gentlemen...um, action figure and transformer?
They are reciting Romans 12:1:
Rom 12:1
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship.

For tomorrow's post(s): Lyceum from Knut's, Bjorn's, and Sylvia's point of views, VERY cute videos of Rosemary playing Peek-a-boo, and more! Be sure to stop by! Note: I might not get to most of it until late at night, but the Lyceum post should be out sometime in the afternoon since Bjorn has to go to bed pretty soon after dinner.
